The second half of the planed forums on the topic "Financial and non-financial support to CSOs from local authorities" were organized in Veles, Gostivar, Strumica and Kumanovo by the Association of Financial Workers of Local Self Government and Public Enterprises - Veles in the period from December 2018 to February 2019.

The series of forums was finalized with the forum organized in Kumanovo, where representatives from several municipalities and civil society organizations from the Northeast planning region discussed the assistance offered to the civil society organizations and the goals of that assistance. As in other planning regions, the participants agreed that it is necessary to improve the procedures of the process and to better the transparency of the municipalities.

The main goal of the 8 forums was to give opportunity to representatives of civil society and local authorities from all planning regions to discuss the current state of their cooperation and how the communication in both sectors can be improved, as well as to promote the research of the Association of Financial workers on the topic "Financial and non-financial support of CSOs from local authorities - conditions, opportunities and challenges".

The forums were organized within the project "CSOs for making local democracy work", implemented by ALDA, Association of financial Workers of Local Governments and public enterprises and the European Movement of the Republic of Macedonia financed by the European Union.
