On the 29th of March 2023, in Skopje Macedonia, Eurothink – Center for European Strategies in partnership with ALDA and BIRS launched the project Media 4 EU – Civil Society Program for the participation of media in North Macedonia’s EU membership negotiation. 

The event gathered 30 representatives of international bodies, national and local media and CSOs. The Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of North Macedonia, David Geer opened the conference highlighting that this project plays an important role in the EU integration process for North Macedonia. His speech was proceeded by the address of the Deputy Prime Minister for European Affairs, Bojan Maricich, who highlighted the support that the government offered to the project and the importance of this type of projects in the battle against misinformation. 

The conference was closed with the address of the project partners, that talked about the details and activities of the joint action, and their commitment to the project and the objectives.  Marco Boaria represented ALDA at the conference and shortly presented the work and engagement that the organization has on the topic of media.
