European Association for Local Democracy (ALDA) - Skopje launches a public call for experts-researchers within the project "CSOs for making local democracy work".
The first meeting of the partners in the new project "CSOs making local democracy work" was held on April 19, 2017 in the offices of ALDA Skopje.
ALDA Skopje is launching a call for offers for design and production of banners and brochures for the needs of the project "CSOs making local democracy work".

Call for training for representatives of civil society organizations and local self-governments
Within the project "CSOs making local democracy work", a series of free two-day trainings will be conducted for representatives of civil society organizations and local authorities:
The European Movement in Skopje hosted the Steering Committee of the project "CSOs making local democracy work" on 31 October 2017.
The European Association of Local Democracy Agencies (ALDA) Skopje, the Association of Finance Officers of the Local Government and Public Enterprises- Veles and the European Movement are publishing call for sub-granting projects of CSOs within the project "CSOs for Making Local Democracy Work". The project is funded by the Delegation of the European Union in Skopje through the IPA Program for Civil Society Support and Media Program 2015.
A series of four trainings for local authorities and civil society representatives took place from 23rd November to 7th December. The free two-day trainings were held for a total of 120 representatives from local authorities and civil society organizations. At the trainings, the participants learned about useful tools for local democracy, budgeting and transparency of the local finances, funding of civil society organizations from the local government budget and project cycle management and the EU funds.
On December 18, 2017, starting at 10 in the EU InfoCentre in Skopje, the conference "New Challenges, New Perspectives on Local Democracy" will be held. Representatives of the Ministry of Local Self-Government, diplomatic missions in Skopje, and members of municipal councils, experts in the field of local self-government, civic organizations and other stakeholders of local importance will take part in this event.
The European Association for Local Democracy - ALDA Skopje, The Association of finance officers of the local governments and public entreprises and the European Movement implement the project “CSOs for making local democracy work”, financed by the EU Delegation in Skopje through the IPA programme for financial support of the civil society and media 2015.
The conference titled "New Challenges, New Perspectives on Local Democracy" was held in EU Info centre in Skopje. The conference was officially opened by the HE. Mr. Christian Thimonier, Ambassador of France and mr. Dejan Pavleski, Deputy Minister of Local Self-Government, professor Mileva Gjurovska, president of the European Movement and Ms Milena Dimitrovska, project manager form ALDA - Skopje.
2018 is the second year of implementation of the project CSOs for making local democracy work. Today, the three partners: ALDA Skopje, European Movement Skopje and Association of financial workers, met for the third Steering committee meeting.

As part of the project, the partners are realising a sub-granting scheme for local Civil Society Organizations.
For the needs of the project, the partners launch a public call for translators in Albanian language.
The first training for the representatives of the organizations that have been awarded within the subgranting scheme in the project was realized on the 27th of April 2018.
The second training for the representatives of the organizations that have been awarded within the subgranting scheme in the project was realized on the 3rd of May 2018.
The third training for the representatives of the organizations that have been awarded within the subgranting scheme in the project was realized on the 10th of May 2018.
