The European Association for Local Democracy - ALDA Skopje, together with the Association of Financial Workers of the Local Government and Public Enterprises - Veles and the European Movement are implementing the project “CSOs for making local democracy work”, financed by the European Union. As part of the project, the partners are realising a sub-granting scheme for local Civil Society Organizations.

The overall goal of the project is to strengthen the role of local civil society organizations to contribute to public policy making on local level. The sub-granting scheme has the aim to contribute to the main goal of the project.

12 innovative ideas for improving the cooperation between civil society organizations and local self-governments were awarded a grant as part of the scheme. 4 trainings for the grantees will be organized by ALDA Skopje this month, providing them with knowledge and skills to implement the projects successfully.
