The Minister of Local Self-Government, Ms. Shiret Elezi held a meeting with representatives from ALDA Skopje, European Movement and Association of Financial Workers who presented the new project "CSOs making local democracy work".

The project, funded by the European Union, started with the implementation in the first half of 2017 and will include a series of activities and initiatives aimed at strengthening civil society in the European integration process. For this purpose, training for representatives of civil society organizations and municipalities, national and regional research is provided as well as granting a financial assistance for conducting small projects on the topic, organizing conferences of international character, etc.

The Minister of Local Self-Government, Ms. Elezi welcomed the representatives of all the partners in her office on 2 May 2017 and they informed her about the project activities that will be attained by the end of this year and in the next phase of the project.
