Establishing co-management body in order to monitor the implementation of the Youth Strategy in the Municipality of Krushevo

On 28 of December, 2018 in Krushevo was held a working meeting for establishing a co-management body, which will monitor the implementation of the Youth Strategy in the Municipality of Krushevo, as part of the project “Creation of Local Youth Strategy in the Municipality of Krushevo” implemented by Youth Council Prilep.

The event was attended by representatives of the local self-government of Krushevo, the local Youth council, the Youth council Prilep, the non-governmental sector, as well as professors and representatives of high school communities.

The Youth council Prilep, in cooperation with the local Youth council of the Municipality of Krushevo prepared a list of nominated members, representatives of various institutions that will be part of the co-management body in order to contribute to the implementation of the local youth strategy. The nominees and attendees agreed with the selection.

At the meeting were discussed the ways of communication between the members of the body, its functioning and were given additional suggestions regarding its adoption and structure, so it can have greater influence and a good plan for monitoring the implementation of the youth strategy.

Additionally, in the course of January 2019, will be created the official documents which necessary for the body to function: the Rules of Procedure and the Matrix for monitoring the implementation of the local youth strategy.

The body will submit six-month and annual reports to the Council and the Mayor of the Municipality of Krushevo.

The project “Creation of Local Youth Strategy in the Municipality of Krushevo” is supported in the framework of the re-granting scheme of the project “CSOs for Making Local Democracy Work” implemented by ALDA, Association of financial Workers of Local Governments and public enterprises and the European Movement of the Republic of Macedonia financed by the European Union.
