Traditional children games organized in Gradsko

On 15.11.2018 in the Primary School "Dame Gruev" in the Municipality of Gradsko the activity "Old traditional children games" took place as part of the project "Creative Campaign to positive living practices, healthy habits and values”.

The aim of the activity was to encourage the children to turn to their parents and to get them interested how they spent their free time in the childhood, what kind of games they played and to share those games. This is a method that is known to us as the transfer of experiences, knowledge from "knee to knee", ie from generation to generation.

About 30 children from this school presented the games that their parents played back when they ere children, unknown for them and above all fun. According to the foreseen activities, several games were played like marbles, rope pulling and many others.

This activity fully realized the idea and conception of this project, which is actually animating the old children's games from the childhood of older generations, introducing new innovative games and at the same time distracting children from mobiles and computers.

The project activities were implemented together with the partners of this project - the Municipality of Veles, Municipality of Gradsko, Dame Gruev Primary School - Gradsko, Vasil Glavinov Primary School - Veles and Cyril and Methodius Primary School- Veles, as well as the Vardar Planning Region.

The project "Creative Campaign to positive living practices, healthy habits and values " is supported within the framework of the scheme for re-granting the project "CSOs for making local democracy work", implemented by ALDA, the European Movement of the Republic of Macedonia and the Association of Financial Workers of Local Governments.
