The partners and the sub-grantist of the project “CSOs for making local democracy work” meet on the 15th of January 2020 in Skopje. During the meeting the representatives from the 12 partner organizations had the opportunity to present the results of their projects, their positive experiences and to evaluate the implemented activities within the project.

As result of the good experience and encountered challenges at local level, the participants initiated the opportunity of establishing a Network for Local democracy.  

The main purpose of establishing a Network for Local Democracy is to involve all stakeholders working in the field of citizen participation in decision-making processes at the local level and bringing local governments closer to citizens.

The project partners and sub-grantees decided to sign a memorandum for formalizing the Network for Local Democracy during the project Final conference which will take place in Skopje on the 22nd of January.
