12 sub-grantees of the project "CSOs for making local democracy work" for half a year have been actively implementing their projects in cooperation with the local authorities.

In the first six months, more than 50 activities were conducted in 12 communities with direct participation of more than 1000 citizens, representatives of local self-governments, members of NGOs, youth and adults.

Each project aimed to contribute for improving the cooperation between the civil society sector and local authorities. In that direction, the Youth Council in Prilep, in cooperation with the Municipality of Krushevo, created and adopted the Local Youth Strategy in the Municipality of Krushevo. The Association ISIE created the website "Referendum" for raising awareness among the citizens on this topic. ZG Veles Biking in cooperation with the municipalities of Veles and Gradsko animated the youngest by organizing bike rides in order to defuse children from modern technological devices. Rural Coalition - Kumanovo and the Municipality of Staro Nagorichane signed the Memorandum of Cooperation for the implementation of their project, etc.
