On 02.10.2018 in the premises of the elementary school "Kiril i Metodij" from Veles, was held the first workshop on the topic: "The Influence of Children's Games on the Psycho-Physical Development of Children" within the activities of the Veles Bajking-Veles for the project "Creative Campaign to positive living practices, healthy habits and values!”
Experts which are engaged in this project made presentations of their findings based on questionnaires in the past three months, detailed analysis and expert processing. Each of them, at the event held a presentation followed by direct communication with the present children who showed interest in this topic.
The first presentation was given by Mr. Aleksandar Domazetov- pedagog in the primary school “Vasil Glavinov” in Veles on the topic "Analysis and interpretation of the results obtained from the conducted research within the project -"Creative Campaign to positive living practices, healthy habits and values!”. The main conclusion of this research is that primary school children spend most of their free time on the Internet, and at least of all reading books. The obtained results warn of the large and frequent use of the latest technological instruments.
Within the second presentation, the psychologist Sonja Ristovska spoke about the influence of children's games on the psycho-physical development of the children and through direct comparison pointed out the good and bad sides of outdoor games compared to those on the computer.
The third presentation was held by Natasha Koceva, professor of physical education on the topic "Deformities in children resulting from physical inactivity and inadequate diet", where the significance of healthy eating was emphasized, as well as it’s influence on the growth and development of the children.
After the experts' presentation, a discussion followed, where the children had the opportunity to obtain more information about some of the topics as well as to ask questions.
The project "Creative Campaign to positive living practices, healthy habits and values!” is supported in the framework of the re-granting scheme of the project “CSOs for Making Local Democracy Work” implemented by ALDA, Association of financial Workers of Local Governments and public enterprises and the European Movement of the Republic of Macedonia financed by the European Union.
