In the framework of the "Civil Society Organizations in the Service of Local Democracy" project, two two-day trainings will be held during December 2019. These trainings are aimed at strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations and municipalities.

The training for Project Cycle Management and EU funds will be held on December 16-17 in Skopje. The participants will be introduced to the project cycle, will get information on EU funds for CSOs and local governments, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of project preparation and project implementation by local governments and CSOs.

The Tools for Local Democracy and Participatory Budgeting training will be held in Ohrid on December 23-24. The purpose of this training is to familiarize the attendees with the concept of local democracy, decision-making process at the local level and the possibilities for involving the civil sector in the public policy making process, as well as with the concept of local budget.

Each of the trainings will be attended by 20 representatives of CSOs and municipalities. The trainings will be delivered in Macedonian by skilled trainers with years of experience in delivering training and expertise in the subject of training.
