The European Movement in the Republic of North Macedonia (EMMK) in cooperation with the Ministry of Local Self-Government and the Municipality of Chair organize a panel discussion intitled "Decentralisation as a Key to Regional Development in the Republic of North Macedonia" on the 29.10.2019 in the premises of the Municipality of Chair. The event is part of the program of the project “CSOs for making Local Democracy work”.
This activity aims to contribute to the affirmation of regional development as a key segment of the North Macedonia's development leading to improved quality of life, thereby contributing significantly to progress in the European integration processes. The panel discussion will also draw conclusions that will be in line with the contents of Chapter 22, Regional Policy and Coordination of Structural Instruments.
An special objective of this discussion is to affirm the European initiatives for closer cooperation of local authorities with civil society organizations, but also with other stakeholders in the development processes of the municipality (entrepreneurs, farmers, educators, cultural workers).
